Today we are installing the Church Council for 2010: Members are Gene Brown, Ross Campbell, Lisa DeHaven, Joe Fisher, Sarah Fitch, Karen Geils, Carla Greene, Joan Holling, Kerry Koon, Wesley Kornahrens, Rudy Matzner, Nancy Romness, Andrea Summer, Wayne Weart and Ernie Weatherholtz.
Reminder for Today: The called meeting of the Council will be at 10:00 am, 1st floor, Outreach Building for the purpose of electing Council officers.

Part of the Doscher Collection of the Holy Family is on display in the Fellowship Room.

XYZ Then & Now Singles Lunch will be held today at 12:30 pm.

Music Ministry: The Alleluia Choir (K5 - 5th grade) and the Youth Choir (6th -12th grade) will resume regular rehearsals this Wednesday, January 12. The Alleluia Choir meets at 4:45 p.m. and the Youth Choir meets at 5:30 p.m. Now is a great time to enter into one of these choirs if you have not been a participant before. Please speak to Mr. Ludlum after one of today's services if you would like to serve the worship ministry of your church in one of these groups.

Please note: Ministry Leadership – Reports for the Annual Report are due in the Parish Secretary’s office no later than January 15th. If you have any questions, call Debarah at 723-1611 Ext. 16.

The WELCA Tea at Franke Homes is scheduled for January 24 at 3:00 pm. For more information call June Baxley.

Progress is being made on the new church website. The home page design has been selected and the Parish Secretary will begin adding content later this month. Chairs of Ministry Boards should submit a brief description of their Board’s ministry and all ministries which come under their Board and contact information to office@smlccharleston.org as soon as possible. Contact information should include the name of the person in charge of the ministry and their email address and/or phone number.     The Mother’s Lounge is available to use anytime. The Respite Care Library next to the Fellowship Room in the Education Building has a rocking chair and privacy screen. A changing table is located at the back of the stage.
    We Care for Our Troops Prayer Wall -
