For those of you who are looking for an alternative gift
idea this Christmas season, there are tables set up in the
Education hallway today for
Christmas Bags of Caring, Angel Tree, Gifts of Hope and
Fair Trade. This is a wonderful way to
celebrate Christmas and give a gift to someone in need.

St. Matthew’s and the 2009 “Holy City Ornament”
are available for
purchase at the Outreach Center. For more information,

Reminder: Donations for the Christmas Bags of Caring
are due today.

College
of Charleston Concert Choir will present their Christmas
Concert, tomorrow, Monday, December 7 at 8:00 pm in our
Sanctuary.
"A Celtic Christmas" will be presented at John Wesley
United Methodist Church by the Taylor Music
Group, a
professional choir located in Charleston ,on Saturday,
December 12 at 8:00 p.m. Normal admission is $25. However,
a special rate of $30 per family group is available for all
members of St. Matthew's Church by showing a St. Matthew's
Church bulletin at the door.
Advent
Devotions for
all ages are available in the Education hallway. In
addition to attending Advent worship on Wednesdays in
December, consider taking time for daily study and prayer.
