Our
Outreach Food Pantry struggles to keep up with demand
in the summer as the supplies at our Low country Food Bank
are low. Please consider picking up additional items while
shopping specifically for our food pantry shelves.
Donations can be brought either to the Outreach Center or
placed in the Outreach drop box in the Education Building
hallway.
Want to get involved? Our Outreach Center is organizing the
team for our
10th
Annual Cinderella Project, which will be held March 13
and 20, 2010. If you are interested in being a part of
planning this event, please contact Margaret Peck.
St.
Matthew’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday,
September 20th. Our Picnic in the Park will be
held at James Island County Park – Edisto Hall,
1:00-6:30PM. (Lunch will be served from 1:30-3:00PM). Cost:
Adults - $5.00; Children under 12- $3.00. Please call Donna
Kidd for reservations.

Youth and adults join together for these two weeks in the auditorium for A Panoramic View of Testaments Old & New. People often read bits and pieces of the Bible, but seldom have time to put the whole story together and see the big picture.

the Spotlight.”
Acolyte Training – Sanctuary,September 20, 9:45
am, Grades 6-12
This combined Sunday School class will include Confirmation
students, 6th grade and high school students.
Any adults that are interested in learning more about our
Acolyte Team are also invited. This will be a refresher
course for experienced acolytes as well as training for new
acolytes. Sandy Yohman, Doug Ludlum, Cathy Singletary,
Melanie Cappelmann and members of the Order of St. Matthew
will review candle lighting, processionals and acolyte
responsibilities.
