Holy Week Services: Thursday, April 1, Maundy Thursday, 12:10PM – Holy Communion and 6:30PM – Holy Communion/Stripping of the Altar. Friday, April 2, Good Friday, 12:10PM – Adoration of the Cross and 7:30PM – Tenebrae.

Easter Services next Sunday are at 8:00AM and 11:00AM, with Prelude Music beginning at 7:45AM and 10:45AM.

We will need extra help Easter Sunday morning to carry all the banners of the church year in procession.  There are eleven banners to process and men and women are needed to help carry them at the beginning of each service.  Please contact Melanie Cappelmann or Cathy Singletary to volunteer.  Thank you.

St. Matthew’s will be broadcast on WSC 94.3 FM on Easter Sunday from 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM.  

Easter Breakfast:
Everyone is invited! Sunday, April 4, 9:15 AM in the Auditorium. Hot Ham & Cheese Croissants, Hot Pancakes, Link Sausage, Creamy Grits, Fresh Fruit Salad, Hot Coffee, Juice and Milk. Donations will be accepted to help cover the cost of food. Suggestion: $5 for adults; $2.50 for children.

Share the Joy! Volunteers are needed to help with the delivery of Easter Lilies to our shut-ins and seniors. We will deliver them on Tuesday, April 6. Pick up in the Nave between 9:00-10:00AM. Call Joan Holling to volunteer.

Volunteers are needed for the Thrivent for Lutherans Habitat House for each Saturday in March and April. Please contact Pastor Dick Campbell to sign up and to receive contact information.

The Men’s Church League Softball will begin practicing after Easter. If you are at least 16 by July 31 and are interested in playing, please contact Michael Black.

The newly formed Circle 7 will meet on Tuesday, April 4 at 4:00PM at Cynthia Amick's home.  All women interested in an afternoon circle are cordially invited.

Thanks & Celebrate! Please join us today at 9:45AM in the Auditorium for a reception to honor Margaret Peck and Al Clement and to remember Joe Reed.

FLOWERING OF THE CROSS –
During the Easter Breakfast the children are invited to join Matt Canniff-Kuhn on the stage in the Auditorium to hear the Easter story followed by flowering the cross. The children may bring flowers with them from home or use the ones provided to decorate the cross.

Please bring your Lenten offering boxes next Sunday for the
ELCA Disaster Appeal for Haiti Earthquake Relief. Boxes are still available in the Education Hallway.

The Mother’s Lounge is available to use anytime. The Respite Care Library next to the Fellowship Room in the Education Building has a rocking chair and privacy screen. A changing table is located at the back of the stage.


We Care for Our Troops Prayer Wall is located in the Education Hallway by the Fellowship Room. Please contact one of our team leaders, Sondra Pfaehler or John Burbage with additions and updates.

Baobab Blast: God's Great Get-Together! Vacation Bible School
All Church Opening Celebration on June 13 at 9:45AM, June 14 – June 17, 9:00 AM – Noon with an All Church Wrap Up & Dinner 6:00 – 8:00PM on the 17. Registration begins April 25 for Preschool children age 3 through children entering 5th grade. Youth and adults please sign up to help. Childcare will be provided for infants/toddlers of volunteers.
